Drycrete is a pre-bagged dry shotcrete mix for use in underground support, rockface lining, or in structural repair situations.
Advantages
- Drycrete can be supplied with, or without steel fibre reinforcing or polypropylene reinforcing, allowing support characteristics to be met.
- Quick set characteristics are available for use where early strength gain is required.
- Mix design is optimised to reduce rebound losses.
- Drycrete achieves a minimum of 30 MPa strength at 28 days when correct water/cement ratios are used.

Packaging
Outer bag | Inner bag |
Virgin, woven, pre-printed, polypropylene bag, with stitched polyester seams. Colour coded for easy identification of product. | Virgin, low density, polyethylene bag with heat-sealed sides and bottom seams. |
Storage
Materials should normally be stored under cover. Reduced shelf life may occur if packaging is exposed to the elements. Packaging materials may deteriorate, allowing moisture ingress into the cementitious binder. This could lead to premature hardening.
Shelf Life
Drycrete products will store for up to 6 months in dry conditions.
Safety
General | The use of eye protection, gloves and dust masks is recommended. Follow the typical precautions as prescribed for handling Portland cement. |
Inhalation | Constant exposure over long periods of time to very high concentrations may cause a cough with phlegm. |
Skin contact | Prolonged exposure could sensitize skin causing mild irritation. In extreme cases, dermatitis could occur. |
Eyes | Use eye protection. However, if eyes become affected, irrigate eyes with copious amounts of clean water. Seek medical attention. |
Ingestion | Ingestion of harmful quantities is unlikely to occur. If ingested, drink copious amounts of drinking water and consult a medical practitioner. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. |
