Three old houses were renovated and restored and finally transformed into a modern, high-profile office complex in Welkom, Free State. Achieving the correct total visual appearance – including the extensive surrounding paved areas – was of primary importance to the overall success of the restoration project.
Several separate paved areas had to be considered by the designers – the main driveway, parking, walkways and the paving surrounding the office buildings. For the entire area, Technicrete’s Concor CobbleBond in autumn blend, edged with slate pavers were used, enhancing the “reborn” character of the precinct and its surrounding areas.
